Treatment for Complex Trauma

The following interventions have been developed specifically for Complex Trauma:

These therapies were developed specifically for Complex Trauma; however, most are also appropriate for youth with PTSD. Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), one of the most widely used trauma treatments, is recommended for youth who experience numerous problems related to PTSD. It has been modified and significantly lengthened for use with youth who have also experienced Complex Trauma.
